Organize academic-service search opportunities around country, subject, and user intent.

SEO project portfolio · Gurjot Singh Sidhu

01 / THE OBJECTIVE

Challenge & focus

Organize academic-service search opportunities around country, subject, and user intent. A broad academic-service term does not capture the full range of student needs: subject context and market context both matter. The focus was to connect these dimensions with suitable service pages and related content. Country-level targeting describes the research approach, not a claim that every market achieved the same rankings or traffic growth.

02 / THE WORK

SEO execution

  • Subject-specific and country-level research: examine how academic-service searches differ by subject and market. Connect keyword opportunities with appropriate pages rather than treating international visibility as one undifferentiated goal.
  • Service-page SEO: align each page with the need it is intended to address. The country-to-subject-to-intent sequence provides the organizing logic for page targeting.
  • Long-tail topics and content clusters: group related questions around a common subject or service. This creates a connected content strategy rather than a collection of unrelated keyword pages.
  • Internal linking and competitor research: examine competing content and connect related pages within the site. These activities support the visibility focus, but their individual contribution has not been quantified in the supplied material.

04 / EVALUATION FRAMEWORK

How progress should be measured

The following is a recommended reporting framework, not additional results claimed for this project. It separates search visibility from website engagement and business impact.

Search visibility
Compare Search Console clicks, impressions, and click-through rate for relevant pages and queries over clearly defined periods. Use market and device breakdowns where relevant, and account for seasonal changes.
Visitor engagement
Review organic landing-page visits and engagement in analytics. Keep branded and non-branded search distinct where the available reporting allows it.
Business outcomes
Track relevant enquiries, sign-ups, or other agreed actions with a consistent attribution method. Platform totals alone should not be presented as proof of SEO growth.
